    Welcome to Sherman Island County Park

    For Safety, and to maintain our Privileged use of Sherman Island County Park Beaches, Please read & observe the following guidelines:

  • Reserve the inner 200 foot area of all beaches for launching, landing and for swimmers.
  • Body Drag (upwind) out away from shore especially on flood tides.
  • All Kiteboarding and Windsurfing tricks and jumps should be completed outside of the 200 foot safety limit, set by the marker bouys.
  • Always look before you jump
  • Please be courteous to all other park guests and users.
  • Always follow the "right of way rules"
